Idanha-a-Velha: Lagar de Varas
Recently restored, the Lagar das Varas bears witness to the changing rural techniques to transform agricultural products.

At the first room, two great press rods and a boiler can be seen; next to it, the olive storehouse and the millstone.

At the backyard, besides the well which fed the boiler, there is a modern structure with some of the objects recovered during the archaeological excavations at Idanha-a-Velha, forming one of the most important epigraphic collections of the Iberian Peninsula.
