Our Lady of Visitation Chapel

Our Lady of Visitation Chapel
Built in the 16th to 18th centuries, it is a fine example of the Manueline-Mudejar style, with a Manueline portal, 18th-century figurative tiles at the presbytery and the body of the nave and a collection of offerins made in pursuance of a vow.

Situated on the top of a hill at about 2 km from Montemor-o-Novo, it offers a panoramic view over the city and its castle and you can reach it by a well marked road.
