Convento da Saudação
Initiated in the 16th century within the walls of the Montemor-o-Novo castle, it was submitted to works which introduced several changes until the 19th century.

It is now considered the county´ s most important monument in terms of artistic value.

The entrance-hall, decorated with tiles from 1651, and the cloisters deserve special attention.

The works of preservation now taking place may interdict the access to some areas.
