Silves Municipal Museum

Silves Municipal Museum
The Municipal Museum was built around an Arab cistern and well from the 11th century, about 50 ft deep, that remained for centuries forgotten in the basement of a common house, having been restored a few years ago.

The museum exhibits, besides this interesting feature, a vast collection of archaeological items, most of which were discovered in the castle.
