Municipal Museum of Torres Vedras

Municipal Museum of Torres Vedras
Installed at the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça, it was founded in 1929, to make known the history of the city and county.

The main attraction is an archaeological and etnographic exhibition, with countless objects found in the environs; at the Medieval Room, there are pictures and tombstones, among other artifacts characteristic of the age; at the splendid Lines of Torres Room, documents, costumes, models and other items are displayed to hel to explain that important and original defensive system.
