Rebuilt in the 16th century, Igreja de São Pedro has a Manueline portal, but the building is in the Renaissance style and exhibits the arms of king João III at the top.

Inside, the church features three naves, with an organ from the 18th century, a great variety of decorated tiles dating from different periods and sculptures from the 17th and 18th centuries.
