Igreja Matriz is located exactly in the town center, in the square of Largo 5 de Outubro.

There are historical documents mentioning it in the 16th century, but it was enlarged in the 18th century.

The church has three bell-towers and a neo-classical architecture; inside, it has only one nave.

All the altars are in marble, as well as the paintings' frames.

The visits are integrated in the tourist circuits of the Oeiras City Council, once per month, on a sunday.
