Museu da Cidade
The exhibition of Museu da Cidade traces a chronological evolution of the city, since the occupation of the territory in the pre-history to the early 20th century.

Most notable are the collection of the oldest artifacts of human occupation, the first representations of Lisbon, projects for the innovative work of the Free Waters Aqueduct, a wooden model of the city on the eve of the 1755 earthquake, the numerous representations of this disaster and the plans to rebuild the city, apart from compelling works of historical painting.
