Jardim Municipal de Oeiras
One of the many green spaces that have been restored in the zone, the Jardim Municipal de Oeiras features lakes, ducks, pigeons and a big playground, with swings and other amusements.

Noteworthy is the Toy Library, installed in a tramway carriage, where children can read, draw, paint and play, among other activities.

The garden, divided longitudinally by the small Laje river, which once supplied Oeiras but where now only a trickle of water runs, results from the reunion of two estates: to the right, the Quinta do Arriaga, known for its woods, ponds and arches; to the left, the Quinta do Proença, where irrigation tanks and a garden of orange trees can be seen.
