Erected probably in the 16th century, Casa da Torre is one of the most curious buildings of Gouveia, still keeping many of its original character.
Particularly noteworthy are its decorated windows, the balcony and its supports and a stone inscription that time has washed away.
Presently, it houses some services of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
