The Museum offers a display of historical, cultural, archaeological and etnographical items.

At the basement, there is a zone dedicated to the town´s foundation; the first floor focuses history, culture and archaeology and the second is devoted to etnography.

The terrace offers splendid views over Melgaço and the surrounding region.
