Our Lady of Grace Church
Largo da Graça
Our Lady of Grace Church
Built in the 16th century, during the reign of John III, this Renaissance church with a Palladian façade was probably designed by Miguel de Arruda.
The striking granite façade is original due to the game of volumes, with the central window integrated in the fronton, and to the four muscular figures, supporting globes, seated on square pillars.
Inside, the panels of tiles are still partially visible, and it is worth admiring the 15th-century window, in carved marble, by Nicolau Chanterenne.
