Portugal for the Little Ones
Conceived by Bissaya-Barreto and planned by Cassiano Branco, inaugurated in 1940 and concluded by the end of the decade of 50, this thematic park intended for children represents the cultural values of colonial Portugal.

It has three areas which were built in different stages; the first one is meant for children and the two others for adults.

The Little Ones Village exhibits miniatures of typical regional houses and recreates villages from all over the country, namely from the Coimbra zone.

The second phase, Monumental Portugal, represents the most important Portuguese monuments.

The Overseas nucleus evokes the former Portuguese colonies in Africa, and also Brazil, Macau, India and East Timor.
