Our Lady of Mércoles Chapel
This temple, situated at 3 km from the city, marks the transition between the Roman and Gothic styles.
We don´t know who built it, but according to the tradition it was the monks of the Order of the Temple.
Since 1609, the walls inside are lined with glazed tiles.
The chapel´s floor is lower than the ground, so you have to go down five steps to enter the church.
