Built at the end of the 15th century, Capela de São Sebastião das Carvalheiras was rebuilt in the 18th century, dating from this time the tiles that cover the interior walls, displaying the story of St.
Sebastian and his martyrdom.
It is a Baroque church, an excellent example of its type, with an eight-sided plant, rectangular main chapel and sacristy and a bell-tower in the back, according to the tradition of Braga.
