Museu de Arte Sacra
It is at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Conception, recently restored, that the Religious Art Museum Nucleus of the county of Alcoutim was installed.

Exhibiting a vast religious patrimony dating from the 16th to the 19th centuries, it stimulates the visitor to then take a tour through several sites of the county which includes 19 churches and chapels.

The most important churches are situated at the parishes of Martinlongo, Pereiro, Vaqueiros and Giões, but several small villages also exhibit chapels which are worth visiting.

At the Museu de Arte Sacra, besides admiring the valuable objects displayed, you can obtain detailed information of all the churches of the Alcoutim county.
