Palácio Valenças
One of the first great monuments of Sintra´s historical zone, the Palácio Valenças is a building from the 18th century, displaying Romantic and Gothic influences imagined by the Italian architect Giuseppe Cinati.

It now lodges the Sintra Municipal Library, a fact that also turns this monument into a space for searching knowledge.

In spite of the works to adapt the building, it remains in excellent conditions and keeps most of its original architecture.
