The pictoresque Salema still mantains its ancient traditions of fishing activity.

There is no barrier between the beach and the village, and small boats painted in bright colours, bearing quaint names such as God help me, rest on the sand close to the first houses.

There are, however, good conditions for the visitor to stay due to the tourist equipment which includes a camping park.

During Summer, a few bares offer night entertainment.
