Hotel Solar do Castelo
Built in the second half of the 18th century, in St.George´s Castle, in the site of the old palace´s kitchens, it has two floors and a mansard, an inner courtyard and gardens, as well as some medieval remains, thought to have been part of the palace.
Combining elements of the rationalist Pombal style with others that express a greater freedom, the building has been classified for its relevant historical interest and was transformed into an hotel in 2002.
