The Youth Hostel of the Nations Park was built in 1998 to host young people from all over the globe who came to visit Expo 98.With the renovation of the east side of town, a whole range of facilities was created, much to the satisfaction of Lisbon's inhabitants.
Young people were absolutely thrilled with the new possibility of having huge concerts in Pavilhão Atlântico, visiting the theme pavillions and Lisbon's Oceanarium, or even going bowling.
This is the Lisbon of the future, planned and lively; obviously, it had to have a youth hostel.
